This site will convert MA2 Timecode XML to MA3 format.
First of all, make sure that you have the latest MA2 & MA3 (3.9.60.68 & 1.9.7.0) installed!
Export your MA2 save to MA3 format. This is needed to find the correct sequences.
Note: The script has been developed and tested only on Google Chrome. It may or may not run in other browsers.
Note: No files or any data are uploaded to the server. All processing is done in your browser.
Run the following MA2 command: Export Root "ExecutorPages"
Now find executorpages_30.xml in C:\ProgramData\MA Lighting Technologies\grandma\gma2_V_3.9.60\importexport and upload it here:
This is needed because MA2 timecode tracks are assigned to executors but MA3 timecode tracks are assigned to sequences / objects, so we need to build up a relation table to export everything properly. You can skip this step but then you will have some of your tracks unassigned. (The tracks containing go or goto with specific cues can be still assigned.)
Run the following MA2 command: Export Root "Timecodes"
Now find timecode_.xml in C:\ProgramData\MA Lighting Technologies\grandma\gma2_V_3.9.60\importexport and upload it here:
Download the generated MA3 XML with this button:
Move downloaded file to C:\ProgramData\MALightingTechnology\gma3_library\datapools\timecodes
Go to MA3 -> Menu -> Import / Export -> Timecodes -> select the file (conv.xml) and click on Import
